Malawi '23
Hi! Welcome to our blog! It's focused on sharing the experience of spending time with our friends in Malawi. Special thanks to you if you've supported our fundraising towards the projects and equipment we'll be delivering this year. In less than a fortnight our team of 11 volunteers from UK and Poland set off for " Home of Hope ", Malawi. From the capital, Lilongwe, we'll drive about two hours west, along the road towards Zambia. We'll turn right at Mchinji along a line of hills instead of carrying on to the Zambian border, just a few kilometers on, and arrive at what is home and school for over 700 children and young people, and staff. We realize it's a privilege to travel. You're warmly invited to follow us as we post updates each day, sharing stories we hope will make Malawi and the work of Home of Hope feel less a world apart.
